Controllable via app with daylight-like or variable color temperature and nine light effects
The popular LED permanent light series Soluna vom Rollei has a wide variety of LED solutions, compact or real power packs, for photo and video shoots. The new LED permanent lights with 60, 80, 100 and 120 watts of power also offer maximum flexibility with possible app use. Four devices with a color temperature similar to daylight of 5,500 Kelvin and two devices with a variable color temperature between 2,700 and 6,500 Kelvin are available for particularly creative applications. In addition, the innovations are equipped with nine different light effects. This is particularly exciting for video recordings, which benefit from the high CRI and TLCI values. In addition to photographers and videographers, vloggers, streamers and content creators also benefit from the devices.
Norderstedt, June 21, 2023. The Soluna series from the manufacturer Rollei is characterized by uncompromising performance, variability and at the same time robustness. This is exactly where the six new permanent LED lights come into play. Due to the convincing features, such as lighting effects and app use, but also the high CRI and TLCI values, the innovations for photography, videography as well as vlogging, streaming and content creation are exciting.
With a low weight of just one kilogram, the Soluna L-60 (RRP 129 euros) is a lightweight among the Soluna permanent lights. It has an infinitely variable output of 60 watts and offers a daylight-like color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin. The Soluna L-100 (RRP 169 euros) is also designed for a compact overall package with a continuously adjustable output of 100 watts.
The Soluna 80 (RRP 149 euros) and Soluna 120 (RRP 199 euros) are also available for even more flexibility. The output of 80 or 120 watts is also continuously adjustable for these devices. The lights also offer a daylight-like color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin or are available as a bi-color version with a color temperature between 2,700 and 6,500 Kelvin as Soluna 80Bi (RRP 169 euros) and Soluna 120Bi (RRP 229 euros). Both the bi-color variants and the normal models are also equipped with a dual power supply, so that the LED permanent lights can also be operated using separately available V-mount batteries if required. There are also new compatible accessories, such as the V-mount battery adapter for NP-F batteries. In addition, a reflector and a transport bag will be available exclusively from Rollei for the Soluna 80, 80Bi, 120 and 120Bi.
The color rendering index (CRI) of a maximum of 96 and the television lighting consistency index (TLCI) of a maximum of 98 are particularly practical for all devices. These properties ensure excellent color rendering and professional illumination. This is particularly advantageous for video recordings.
Like the other well-known models in the Soluna series, the six new LED permanent lights have the Bowens S-Type connection, which enables flexible use of light shapers such as reflectors and soft boxes. As a result, the LED lights can be used in a variety of ways and open up numerous design options for different scenarios.
In addition to the daylight-like and variable color temperature of the individual models, a selection of nine different lighting effects is available for creative use. Classic effects such as TV, defective lightbulb, thunderstorm and flames as well as pulsing, paparazzi, high/low beam, SOS and warning light can be used. These not only invite great creativity, but also make it possible to create a desired mood for video recordings.
In addition to the controls on the device itself, the new models also use the free Rollei Studio app for mobile devices. This app makes it easier to set the lighting situation and allows easy fine adjustment of the LED lights.r.
