Rollei introduces two new speedlights for the HS Freeze series: The HS Freeze Portable & HS Freeze Portable PRO

The HS Freeze Portable features a rectangular flash head, ideal for getting started while HS Freeze Portable Pro comes with a round flash head for even softer lighting. Both flashes only weigh 500 grams and have one 2.4 gigahertz remote shutter release, 31 channels and 6 groups for settings as well as one integrated modeling light. There are also various modes and synchronization modes for maximum flexibility.
Norderstedt, July 12, 2023. Rollei proudly presents two new speedlights for the HS Freeze series. The Blitz series is characterized by its impressive performance, fast recycling times and versatile application possibilities. The two new models, the HS Freeze Portable and the HS Freeze Portable PRO, continue this tradition and complement the already available HS Freeze 1s speedlight.
The HS Freeze Portable due to the compact design with a rectangular flash head and a rectangular flash bulb for strong and centered illumination. All settings can be easily made via the LC display and the clearly arranged control buttons. It provides even more comfort and softer lighting HS Freeze Portable PRO. This one was made with a round flash head and a rectangular flash bulb. Here too, the device is set directly via the integrated colored one LC display and the buttons on the back.
The portable models are equipped with a flash output of 80 watt seconds, in the 9 f-stops is adjustable and one Guide number of 60. Thanks to the multi-compatible hot shoe, the new products are seamlessly compatible with cameras from Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Panasonic and Olympus. A separately available version of both models with a Sony multi-interface connection makes it possible to use them with the Sony camera system without an additional adapter.
Despite its low weight 500 grams both flashes were with one 2.4 gigahertz remote shutter release fitted. This ensures seamless triggering of other HS Freeze or studio flashes or, in slave mode, use with compatible Rollei remote releases. To avoid interference with other devices during shooting, settings can be divided across the 31 channels and 6 groups. Creating the ideal setting is child's play with the integrated three-watt modeling light, which can be adjusted to three levels.
Like the HS Freeze 1s speedlight, the new portable models have, in addition to slave mode, Speedlite, master and manual modes. Also when it comes to synchronization modes HSS, TTL, synchronization on the 1st/2nd Shutter curtain and the Freeze mode to select. For quick operational readiness at a Color temperature of 5,500 Kelvin they care Burn times of up to 1/50,000 seconds in freeze mode as well as the Recycling time of a maximum of 1.5 seconds.
Thanks to the powerful and rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries with 2,500 milliamp hours it stands Portable and Portable PRO Lightning for over 500 releases available when fully charged. Next to the replaceable battery There is a practical one included in the scope of delivery Transport bag for optimal protection as well as a charger USB-C cable and one Cold shoe stand.
