13mm APS-C lenses for Sony E mount or Nikon Z mount
Together with the partner brand Viltrox, Rollei will soon be presenting two new APS-C 13 mm fixed focal lengths for Sony E-Mount or Nikon Z-Mount. The optically excellent lenses for APS-C cameras not only offer an amazingly large angle of view, but also an almost distortion-free image that makes recordings look particularly natural. Both lenses are perfect for landscape, architecture, street, food and astrophotography. Norderstedt, 05.07.2022. In cooperation with the lens manufacturer viltrox Rollei will provide one shortly 13mm focal length for Nikon Z mount or Sony E mount before. The lenses AF 13mm f/1.4 DX with Nikon Z mount and AF 13mm f/1.4 E with Sony E mount can now be ordered from Rollei.
the for Lenses suitable for APS-C sensors are characterized by their high initial aperture of f/1.4 and a reliable and fast autofocus. The STM focus motor used for this not only delivers lightning-fast results in photography, but is also ideal for film recordings thanks to its silent operation. The new wide-angle lenses prove to be true all-rounders for landscape, architecture and reportage shots.
The wide-angle lenses use one to set the aperture quickly and easily manual aperture ring. Focusing is both manual and by means of the latest Eye Auto Focus modern mirrorless cameras possible.
The weight of the new wide-angle lenses is only small 420 grams with Sony E mount and 455 grams with Nikon Z mount, although they are made of durable metal and each has 14 lenses in 11 groups. Another feature of the lenses for Sony E-Mount and Nikon Z-Mount is the low close-up limit of just 22 centimeters. This makes it possible to penetrate into the macro range despite the wide angle of view.
An integrated USB-C interface allows the user to regularly upload new updates to the corresponding lens. EXIF data is saved directly thanks to communication with the manufacturer-related APS-C camera.
